  • Another method to reduce the irritation caused by chigger bites is by using a solution prepared from equal amounts of vinegar and water.
  • You can use petroleum jelly on the affected area which will reduce the swelling and the irritation.
  • The best way to ease the irritation is to take some Vitamin E supplements which will comfort the problem within 20 minutes. Consume 400 I.U of vitamin E and then Take 200 I.U. of the vitamin until the bite clears up.
  • You can also use ice and rub them on the infected area to reduce the irritations and make the itch numb.

  • Wash off the clothes immediately with warm water and detergent and dry them well.

  • Dry your body properly and use some antiseptic lotion on the affected area.
