Dull skin home remedies using olive oil and mashed apricot:

  • Vitamin A content in apricot moisturizes dull skin. Apricot treats dull skin by gently exfoliating dead skin. Soak some fresh and dry apricots overnight in water. Smash them and combine with warm olive oil to form a paste. Apply the paste on your skin to revitalize dull skin.

Home remedies for dull skin using Papaya, Honey Paste, gram flour, spearmint leaves and almond paste:

  • Papaya that contains papain together with gram flour can act as superb exfoliating agents. Honey treats dull skin by soothing and moisturizing it. Prepare a paste of the peel of an unripe papaya. Combine the peel papaya paste with 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of gram flour. It will give moisture as well as add glow to your dull skin.

  • Almond gently removes dead cells from dull skin making it supple and soft. Soak some fresh almonds overnight in water. Peel almonds and grind it. Add 2 tablespoons of milk to it and form a paste. Apply the paste on your skin and let it stay for half an hour before rinsing of. Do this remedy everyday for 15 days and it will add glow to your dull and lifeless skin.

  • Spearmint leaves can refresh, hydrate and cleanse our skin by eliminating dead cells. Smash fresh spearmint leaves and put few drops of water to it. Apply this on your skin 2 times daily. This is also one of the productive dull skin home remedies.

Dull skin home remedies using rice flour, orange juice, cucumber juice and fuller's earth:

  • Combine a little rice flour, orange juice and cucumber juice and form a paste. Scrub your face with the paste. Cucumber juice soothes while orange juice helps to remove dead skin cells and dirt from the surface of your skin.

  • You can also combine orange juice and cucumber juice with fuller's earth. Use it as a face pack to rejuvenate and cleanse your skin. Add lemon juice to this face pack to reduce skin tan and lighten the skin. Exfoliation is one of the successful dull skin home remedies. It is better than cosmetic facial scrubs as they can irritate your skin.

Diet to follow:

  • Drink plenty of water to hydrate dull skin. When our skin becomes dehydrated it can loose its natural glow and become dull and dry. You need to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily to prevent it.

  • Consume adequate amount of fresh fruits, fruit juice, coconut water to maintain and balance the skin tone with respect to hydration and nutrition balance. Internal balance will stimulate skin glow within the health system. It should be a balanced diet and supportive to hold the skin glow from inside and prevent it from getting dull.

  • Consume less fried foods especially fast foods and junk foods.

  • Have at least 2 raw fruits as they are high in minerals, vitamins and fiber.

Exercise:

Exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes. Exercise increases the body's metabolic rate and improves blood circulation. This helps to support nourished and healthy skin.
