Home remedies for bloating are easy and it is required that one should adopt healthy lifestyle, and understand why to follow it and what the causes of bloating are. - Follow healthy eating habits:
- Consume lots of liquids and incorporate high-fiber food items in the diet.
- Avoid carbonated drinks, alcohol and coffee.
- Say no to salt: Minimize the usage of salt from your diet. As salt causes water retention in the body and lead to bloating.
- Avoid fatty foods and increase protein and carbohydrate intake. Eat Cauliflower, Caggage, Sprouts, carrots etc.
- Herbal tea: Herbal tea that contains ginger, basis, peppermint and chamomile are recommended for bloating.
- Clove and Eucalyptus: Add few drops of clove oil or eucalyptus oil to a glass of water and drink it daily in the morning.
- Calcium supplement: Women come across the bloating problem as a result of menstruation. Women face hormonal imbalance at that time and digestion speed is reduced. Calcium supplement 1 g. daily is recommended.
- Exercise: Exercise enlarges the blood vessels and lot of liquids is passed to kidneys. So it arrests water retention and relieves from bloating.
- Peach leaves: Pour boiling water in peach leaves and allow it to settle for ten minutes. Drink this infusion twice or thrice a day.
- Wear loose cotton undergarments. The outfits shouldn't be too tight as it traps the gases in abdomen causing blotting.
- Asparagus: Asparagus is a known natural diuretic, i.e. it increases the urine output. Take asparagus to get relieved from bloating.
- Figs: Clean the figs and soak in warm water. Eat the figs along with the water in which figs are soaked. Licorice root tea taken 3 times a day will also help.
- Vitamin B6: Vitamin B also possesses the diuretic properties. Take the vitamin B6 supplement to get rid of bloating problem. Similarly incorporate fish, green peas, brown rice, Spinach, Salmon etc. in your diet. These are the sources of vitamin B6.
- Guava leaves: Put boiling water on guava leaves and consume this infusion twice or thrice a day. It is one of the most effective home remedy for bloating.
