- Flea Shampoo: Flea shampoo kills adult fleas. Apply shampoo and rub it well, just wait for 5 minutes and then wash it completely with water.
- Front line: Front line is available at 'Pet Medicare Shops'. Two brands are available, 'Top Spot' and 'Front line Plus'. Front line Plus is effective to kill eggs and larva of fleas too.
- Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Fennel and Yellow dock: These are the natural flea repellents, which repel the fleas from coming in contact with the dogs. Mix them in equal parts and sprinkle or spray it on the dog. Spread it over the skin with hair brush or hands.
- Lemon Tea Natural Flea Repellent: Take four lemons, cut them and boil it in 4 cups of water. Boil for 5 min. and simmer for 20 min., allow it to cool. Strain the water and take away the lemon chunks. Pour the lemon extracted water in a spray bottle and gently spray it on the skin and rub it well into the skin coat to get rid for fleas. Fleas are repugnant due to the enzyme in the lemon peel.
- Kennel Cough Treatment: The symptoms in general are coughing and hacking. There are many remedies to get relieved.
- Hydrogen Peroxide: Take three drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide and two teaspoons of honey. Mix it in little water. Gently brush the teeth of your dog with this mixture. It helps to reduce cough.
- Honey: Mix one teaspoon of honey and add it in a cup of warm water. Give this to the dog to drink. It helps to reduce coughing.
- Peppermint: Add peppermint leaves in water, boil well. Add some honey to it. Pour few drops of this solution with a medicine dropper at the interval of one hour. It reduces coughing.
- Itchy Paws: Take Epsom salt and water in equal proportion. Apply it gently on the paws. Don't allow the dog to lick it. It helps to reduce the itching sensation.
- Insect Bites: Add baking soda in water, mix it well and apply on the bite. It reduces burning sensation and gives quick relief.
- Odor problem: The odor is caused due to bacteria which persist on the skin. A dog should be bathed once or twice a day. Add one tablespoon vinegar in the bath water. This reduces the odor problem. Apply of sprinkle some baking soda on the skin coat and rub well. This also helps to reduce the odor problem.
- Bleeding nails: If the vein in nail is injured while cutting nails or due to any other reason, and starts bleeding, just tap wheat flour on it.
- Diarrhea: In case of diarrhea the dog suffers from dehydration as well as there is electrolyte loss. Add some pro biotic powder in water and give it to the dog to drink so that electrolyte balance is maintained. The powder is available in 'Pet Medical Shops'.
- Ear Infections: Check your dog for mites, ticks and other parasites once a week. Add few drops of mineral oil on a cotton ball and rub clean the ear.

- Ticks: Apply petroleum jelly and remove ticks. Apply crushed garlic on the skin. Ticks dislike it and gets detached from the skin. In cases when ticks bite the cat, apply vinegar on the skin.
- Irritation and swelling: It is the allergic reaction to tick's saliva. Add few drops of licorice root extract in water and rub it gently on the skin.

- Worms in cattle:
- Garlic: Incorporate garlic in the cattle diet, in any form like fresh garlic, garlic pills or garlic juice. It is useful for respiratory health.
- Wormwood: Wormwood a bitter testing plant is useful to kill worms.
Dry and crush the wormwood flower and powder it. Add cayenne pepper in 1:2 proportion and mix it with honey and flour. Add this in the cattle feed.
- Papaya latex: Papaya latex is highly effective against many parasites.
It exists in Papaya leaves and steam. Feed the cattle depending upon the body weight, i.e. 4 to 8g for body weight, 1kg.
