- A mouthwash can also reduce the blisters in the initial stage. You can use a cotton ball simply to apply the mouthwash on the fever blisters. However, do not use this if blisters bleed.
- Another common method is by using a cornstarch paste on the affected area.
- You can also use an extract a mixture of aloe or some olive oil on the blister.
- Baking soda is also effective for blisters. Mix some portion of baking soda in ice cold tea and apply on the affected area to relief the pain and burning sensation.
