Piles are also known as hemorrhoids which causes the veins in the anus and lower rectum to inflame. These veins tend to stretch under pressure and causes difficulty in passing stool. In addition to these, the piles worsen each time the person defecates.

Piles can be bleeding or dry. However, if the piles are dry for a long time, it may start bleeding. This may be associated with extreme pain that results in bleeding.

The rectal lumps also known as piles which are common in all age groups and common in pregnant women. It is mostly associated and is a problem of the lowest digestive tract. Although piles can be a major problem, it can however be treated using some home remedies for piles.

  • Leakage of feces

There are oral medications for piles like acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen which can temporarily reduce the discomfort. Nonetheless there are also some effective and safe home remedies for piles which are listed below:

Home Remedies for Piles using mustard and pomegranate

  • In a bowlful of yogurt add some grind mustard and mix them thoroughly. This is an effective treatment for piles.
  • A glassful of buttermilk is also beneficial for piles. This helps in a quick healing of piles.
  • Peels of pomegranate are also effective for hemorrhoids. Put the peels in a vessel of water and boil it for sometime. This reduces the piles quickly.
  • Buttermilk is one of the good home remedy for piles by adding some peppercorns, a pinch of rock salt and ginger. Mix this well and drink this two times a day which helps treating and reducing the pain.

Home Remedies for Piles using turmeric and yogurt

  • Turmeric is an effective natural way to treat the disorder. Take a piece of turmeric and grind it to powder and eat it with a glass of warm water in the morning. This reduces the pain and discomfort.
  • Another important medicinal mixture can be prepared by using a bowl of yogurt. To this add some flowers of tamarind plant and also a small amount of pomegranate juice. Blend them properly before consuming.
  • You can also add a paste of ginger and coriander to the bowl of yogurt. This helps in pacifying the pain caused by hemorrhoids. This is one of the simple home remedies for piles.

Home Remedies for Piles using yam and radish

  • Take some dry slices of yam and grind them to powder. In 160 grams of the powder, add 80 grams of white leadwort and also add 10 grams of black pepper. Mix them well. To this you can further add 500 grams of jaggery. Make pellets out of them which is of the size of a cherry. Eat one of these pellets in the morning and evening to reduce and cure piles.
  • One of the vegetable used in home remedies for piles are radish. Extract the juice by grating and to this juice add a little honey. Use this directly on the affected area. This gives instant relief to piles and cures it gradually.
  • Another treatment for piles is adding to the extracted juice of radish, a little milk and mix them well. Apply this on the affected area for instant relief and it lessens the pains also.

Home Remedies for Piles using fruits

  • The extract seeds of ripe mango should be dried properly in the shade. After this grind them into a fine powder. Whenever the pile problem arises, use two grams of the powder along with honey.
  • A ripe banana is mashed in a cup of milk. In a day have this four or five times a day. This helps and stops the pain that arises because of piles. This remedy may take some time to show positive results.

Home Remedies for Piles using turnip and figs

  • Turnips are excellent for piles treatment. Extract the juice of turnip and drink it directly.
  • In addition to the juice, include vegetables like watercress, spinach or carrots. One thing should be kept in the mind that turnip juice should not be taken alone.
  • Figs reduce the pain associated with piles. Soak few figs in water and keep it overnight. So that they soak the water completely. A routine of having them daily solve all the piles complaints.

Home Remedies for Piles using onions and sesame seeds

  • Onions are also effective for piles. For better effect eat onions raw. You can also add sugar to the raw onion. This reduces the bleeding caused by piles.
  • Sesame seeds are also perfect for piles treatment. Take twenty grams of sesame seeds in a half a liter of water and boil it to one third of its quantity. After it cools, mash the seeds and add a tablespoon of butter. This prevents bleeding of piles.

Apart from all the home remedies for piles, a good diet and proper rest will help curing the symptoms of the condition. If it persists, consult a doctor as soon as possible.
