- You can prepare a mixture by adding a tablespoon of honey and also fresh juice. This is an excellent treatment for tuberculosis and is better if taken in the morning.
- One of the effective home remedies for tuberculosis is the juice of pineapple. This is because the juice of pineapple dissolves the mucus and thus helps in quick recovery. Drink a glass of pineapple juice everyday to feel better and lessen the symptoms of tuberculosis.
Home Remedies for Tuberculosis using mint juice and milk
- A juice prepared from mint is effective for the treatment of tuberculosis. Take a teaspoon of the juice along with two teaspoon of honey and mix them well. You can also add two teaspoon of pure malt vinegar and also 125 ml of carrot juice. This dose of the mixture should be taken thrice a day as this dissolves the mucus and brings nourishment to the lungs.
- Milk is an excellent product for the treatment of tuberculosis as it contains the necessary calcium required by the body. Milk consumption should be on daily basis and the patient should drink four to five liters a day.
Home remedies for tuberculosis using bottle gourd and custard apple
- Another effective treatment for tuberculosis is custard apple. Take twenty to twenty five raisins preferably seedless and a pulp of the custard. Boil this in water and in low flame. Switch the gas off when the water becomes one third and after that filter it. You can add two teaspoon of powdered sugar and a pinch of cinnamon and cardamom. This is a very good and in fact one of the best home remedies for tuberculosis.
- If you wan to use vegetables for the treatment of tuberculosis, you can simply opt for bottle gourd. In addition to this bottle gourd can be used to increase the immune system as it helps in fighting the infection.
Home Remedies for Tuberculosis using fruits and drumstick
- Banana is found to be an excellent treatment for tuberculosis and is therefore a valuable remedy for the infection.
- Oranges are also excellent for the treatment of tuberculosis. You can simply drink the fresh juice or add a teaspoon of honey with a pinch of salt. This juice will nourish the lungs and make you feel better.
- One of the common home remedies for tuberculosis is drumstick leaves. You can prepare the medicinal remedy by taking a handful of the leaves and boil in 200 ml of water for a time span of five to ten minutes. After cooling, add limejuice and a pinch of pepper and salt. This is beneficial if taken in empty stomach.

Try to avoid foods like white sugar, white bread , refined cereals, pudding, pies, tanned and preserved food.
